Are Selvora quizzes formal assessments?
No. Selvora's quizzes are pattern-matching tools inspired by popular frameworks like MBTI, Enneagram, attachment theory, and zodiac traditions. They're written for entertainment and self-reflection — they don't use normed scoring, representative sampling, or clinical validation. If you need a formal assessment, please talk to a licensed professional.
Do you store my answers?
No. Quiz scoring runs entirely in your browser. Your answers, birth dates, and tarot card selections never reach our servers. We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous, aggregated traffic data (page views, quiz start/complete events), but the content of your answers isn't forwarded there.
Can Selvora's IQ quiz tell me my real IQ?
No. The IQ quiz is a gamified, casual challenge. The score is a quiz-based estimate written for entertainment, not a certified IQ — please don't compare it with clinical instruments like WAIS or Stanford–Binet.
Is tarot on Selvora real fortune-telling?
No. Tarot readings on Selvora use random card selection in your browser. They draw on traditional symbolic interpretations and are written for reflection and fun — not as predictions, spiritual guidance, or professional counseling.
Is zodiac/astrology content on Selvora evidence-based prediction?
No. Our astrology content is written within traditional symbolic frameworks, for entertainment. It isn't evidence-based prediction, and we'd genuinely recommend against using any reading as the basis for a big life decision.
Why do I sometimes see ads and sometimes not?
Selvora uses Google AdSense. Ad units only render when both a publisher ID and a per-slot ID are configured. While a slot is still being set up — or your browser blocks ads — you'll see no ad and no placeholder. The space simply doesn't render.
Do I need to sign up for an account?
No. Every quiz, tarot reading, and astrology feature is fully usable anonymously. There's currently no login or account system in the main experience.
Can I share my result without creating an account?
Yes. Every result has its own URL, a social preview image, and pre-written share text. Copy the link, share the screenshot, or use the built-in share buttons.

Why are some result pages not indexed by search engines?
A personalized result page is useful right after you finish a quiz — but if a search crawler lands on it without the questions, answers, and context that led there, it can look incomplete. So we keep the main quiz intros, guide hubs, and essays indexable, and treat generated or heavily personalized pages as part of the experience rather than standalone search pages.
How should I read a result that feels only half right?
Totally normal. A Selvora result is a tight interpretation of a handful of choices — not a full portrait. Keep the line that helps you, let the line that flattens you go, and turn the mismatch into a better question. Often the most useful moment is noticing exactly where you disagree with the result.
A result description feels inaccurate or insensitive — what should I do?
Please email us with the specific quiz, the result, and the passage that bothered you. Our editorial policy treats corrections and revisions as a normal part of the work — reader feedback gets read carefully and acted on.
